Description | The aim of this work was to evaluate the plant sources of minor QBA, to quantify the content of alkaloids in them using HPLC and to select their best sources for their isolation. The content of QBA was determined in the underground part of six species of tribe Chelidonieae: Sanguinaria canadensis L., Dicranostigma lactucoides HOOK.f. et THOMS, Chelidonium majus L., Macleaya cordata (Willd.), Macleaya microcarpa (Maxim.) and Stylophorum lasiocarpum (Oliv.). The highest content of chelirubine, chelilutine, sanguirubine and sanguilutine was detected in S.canadensis , while the richest sources of macarpine were S.lasiocarpum and M.microcarpa. Minor QBA are in all species accompanied by sanguinarine and chelerythrine. |
