| Description | A german art historian Ulrich Fürst elaborated he most important interpretation of Santinis project for Monastery Rajhrad near Brno in the last times. On the ground of his findings and the other archives sources there is a possibility now to think over the importance of the artistic task of the project during a period of Anton Pirmus (1676-1744) and later one of Otomar Conrad (1729-1812) once again. In this situation we can - after the analysis of the all visual constitutional elements on the church building and after the clarification of their significance in the relationship of the artistic intentions and stilistic forms go further: we can try to explain them in social-cultural context of the mentalités of the baroque period. |
