Description This contribution refers to the problem of fighting terrorism from the point of view of the Czech criminal law, both de lege lata and de lege ferenda. It explains the main concepts, such as for example terrorism, terror, terror/attack,terrorist group, including their forms,meaning international, national, individual and group terrorism, terrorism like so/called other international [conventional] crimes. The next part describes legal reagulations of the criminal recourse on terrorism [they are bodies of the crimes terror and terror/attack].The second case is the result of implementation of the Council Framework Decision of date Year 2002 Day 13 Month 6 on fighting terrorism. In this context, a short comparative analysis is given with the Slowak criminal legislation against terrorism. The conclusions of this contribution warn about the danger of a so/called "fragmentary approach" in the different kinds of law, which can result in inefficient fight against terrorism.
