| Description | The book has concentrated especially on the questions of interpretation of large art projects of abbots of the Hradisko Abbey in 18th century, particularly on their sculptural aspects. The other important topics of the work have included: representation, patronage, personal manner of an artist, period taste, themes of works of art, decorum and the aspects of centre and region. General intention of the work has not been the study of one traditional subject matter of Moravian art history but the attempt to make a new approach to sculptural studies, new issues of art patronage and representation of the patron. |
