Description The existence of nonoscillatory solutions with prescribed asymptotic behavior is studied for a nonlinear system of two coupled second order nonlinear equations. A general existence theorem for functional boundary value problems, stated by the authors in a previous work, is employed and the main advantages of this approach are illustrated.
