| Description | The aim of my paper is to find out whether the communication technologies have affected the relationships between the central and regional culture, including the central and regional press. I would like to examine the key postulate of mediology on a concrete case. The postulate is based on the statement that the communication technologies affect considerably the human communities and change their cultures. I examine these problems within the system that includes not only the traditional binary oppositions of central and regional culture but also opposition traditional and innovative, everyday and representative, high and low, religious (sacred) and secular (profane), majority and minority, dominant in power and submissive in power or collective (mass, popular) or individual (artistic, alternative) culture. |
