Description In the second half od the 20th century, the Czech countryside went through two developmental interruptions: the first was linked with the liquidation of smallscale private farming and forced collectivization after 1948; the second with the November /1989/ changes. The political system, legislation and ownership relations changed in both cases, affecting employee structures, social life, as well as the cultural sphere.
