| Description | The article deals with controversial questions of electioning of head of state, with the theory and practice of presidential elections in forms as direct, parliamentary, special electoral body and mixed types. It provides an overview of sources of presidential elections in the Czech Republic. The author examines main principles of elections (ordinary and extraordinary ones), organs calling for elections, right to propose a candidate, right to stand for election and the rules of electoral campaign and the rules for determination of election result. |
