Description In the cadastral area of the locality of Hluk (Uherské Hradiště district) a silicite axe was found. The find is unique because to be made of chert of the Krumlovský les type. Till recent time found other siliceous axes in Moravia have silicites from glacial sediments or silicites of Polish origin as raw materials, local Moravian cherts have not been ascertained. According to its morphology, the axe can be connected with the Funnel Beaker culture.
