Description | There is offered a fully semantic solution to Keith Simmons paradox of denotation-reference. This solution is based on the present author's careful rigorous explication of semantic notions, in particular reference, which is deployed by Simmons' paradox producing description. It is then shown that there arises no real paradox, only a confusion of two quite similar descriptions referring to distinct items. |
