| Description | The final thesis deals with the issues of chronically ill pupils in the environment of primary school. The way a chronic illness influences the overall situation of these pupils is presented in two research studies examining the issues of the illnesses Diabetes Mellitus and Phenylketonuria. The first part deals with the illness Diabetes Mellitus and presents quantitative research on problems of education of pupils with this illness in selected primary schools. It analyzes aspects, which influence the educational process of pupils with diabetes. The second part of the report deals with Phenylketonuria, compares theoretical knowledge with real life situations on concrete example of two eleven years old boys attending primary school. The qualitative study analyzes home, school and after-school environment and situations that the boys face in everyday life. |
