| Description | International conference "Early European Languages in the Eyes of Modern Linguistics" was organized by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research into Ancient Languages and Early Stages of Modern Languages at Masaryk University in Brno (MSM 0021622435). The conference was held under the patronage of the rector of Masaryk University, professor Petr Fiala, and under the patronage of the dean of Masaryk University, professor Josef Krob, at the Mendel Museum and the Augustinian Abbey of Saint Thomas. The four-day colloquium contained sessions dealing with Latin and Greek linguistics, Romance languages, Germanic languages, and, last but not least, Slavonic languages. |
