| Description | In this paper several approaches to analysis of the text data in psychology are compared from the beginning of the 20th century to these days. It is focused mainly on research applications of these approaches and mainly on the more traditional ones. They are rather instances of more existing approaches than of their representative overview. In the beginning some linguistic views are presented then the study continues with several psychological approaches that culminate with Kelly's self-characterization sketch analysis. All these approaches are then compared from the point of view of the Greimas' semiotics. Some parallels of the constructivist approaches and semiotics will be highlighted. |
