Description laser ablation has the key role in analysis of metalloproteins by means of GLIM. several parameters were optimised: gel form (drier dried, cellophane coating, frozen gel), laser power density and their dependence to particle number and size, and signal intensity. best parameters were found for gels frozen at -80 deg for 25 min.
