Description | The interdisciplinary research project at Ecsegfalva aimed to reconstruct the lifestyle of the Early Neolithic Körös culture. The research reported in this chapter comprised Körös culture housing in terms of adaptation to the local environment, the construction methods used to build them, the function of identified structures, and the character of and reason for destruction of structures. Questions asked at the onset of research were answered only partially and have inspired a series of additional questions. Nevertheless it was possible to acquire a series of important facts and to present novel solutions to some questions of Körös culture structures. |
