| Description | This chapter analyses foreign capital flows to three groups of states - the baltic countries, the balkan countries and central-european countries. It aims to identify its links to competitiveness of their economies. The structure of the chapter corresponds to the above mentioned classification. Special attention is given to the foreign direct investment and its role in the gross fixed capital formation. The chapter is concluded by the overall comparison of the analyzed economies. |
