Description Bromus lanceolatus, a rare and ephemeral casually introduced grass species, was newly found in the Czech republic after more than forty years. These new localities (in Javorník nad Veličkou and in Prague) as well as the historical distribution in the Czech republic are commented. Another new spread of this species is possible because of its cultivation as an ornamental plant.
