Description | Stellaria pallida is a diploid species from the Stellaria media agg. polyploid group. It is considered to be an endangered species of the Czech republic. The new findings (mainly from the city of Brno)presented here give evidence however, that it is probably much more abundant (mostly on secondary biotopes). Recent rarity of findings of Stellaria pallida is affected (among others) by its hard identification from common Stellaria media. According to this the main characters for identification of these two species are presented. |
