Description | At the Gravettian (Pavlovian, Kostenkian) archaeological sites of the Pavlovian Hills (Czech Republic), namely at Pavlov, Dolní Věstonice and Milovice, numerous fossils of Miocene invertebrates, predominantly molluscs (bivalves, gastropods, scaphopods), occur. They were intentionally collected by the inhabitants of the mentioned sites and used mostly as decorative objects. |
