| Description | We show in this chapter main features of informal education of Czech adults as they were recorded in our representative survey in 2005. We regard main findings, i. e. about one third of Czech adults participated during a year in one or more courses of informal education, as relatively positive result - also in the context of international comparison. About the same share of adults planned to attend a course of informal education in near future. Those who participated and/or who planned to participate were mainly younger and more educated adults. Very important factor having impact on planned participation was past participation - those who did participate in the past planned to participate more often than those who did not have such participation experience. Main courses attended were PC and language ones. |
