Description | This chapter deals with one the most problematic part of the concept of lifelong learning - informal education. Therefore, at first we define what informal education is and which methodological difficulties we encounter in our effort to measure it. Then, basic results from our survey on informal education are presented - they show that about 60 % of Czech adult population educate themselves intentionally in their leisure time by one of the activities that increase their stock of knowledge and competencies. |
