| Description | The article deals with an anonymous print Svatá a bezpečná cesta evangelického křesťana, which was published in Halle in the year 1723. It is the third, reworked edition of the translation of the small German tract Heiliger und sicherer Weg des Glaubens by August Hermann Francke. In the previous article this Halle-edition is being compared with an earlier version of this small tract, which was published in the year 1719 in Leipzig as a part of also anonymous print Poklad evangelického křesťana. Heinrich Milde is the supposed translator of both of these versions, in the Leipzig-edition probably assisted by J. K. Zwiewelhoff and M. Maček. Considering the language differences of these versions I conclude that Milde must have been assisted by different translators. |
