Description	The paper deals with derivational processes in the highly inflected languages (Slavonic). Main attention is concentrated to the semantic nature of the d. relations. The necessary prerequisites for the analysis of d. relations are discussed. Basic software tools and resources necessary for investigation of the d. relations are presented.
