| Description | Moravian Premyslids within the Memory of Monastic Scriptoria: The article deals with Moravian vice-dukes in the 11th and 12th centuries. They participated in the enforcement of ducal rights but the duke of Bohemia had the upper hand and the last word. This was reflected also in transfer of possessions and in various donations. The relevant consent could be given by word of mouth but it was garanted also by means of confirmation charters as early as in the 11th century. |
