| Description | The PISA survey discovered grave deficiencies in the reading skills of Czech pupils. The paper gives some thoughts and suggestions on how literature classes at departments of foreign language of Faculties of Education could support the development of the students reading skills. Thus, the prerequisites for their own manipulation with literature in their future teaching practice might be given. |
