Description | The wall paintings of Johann Christoph Handke in the hall of the deacons canonry (1744) and the frescoes of Franz Anton Šebesta-Sebastini in the Church (1781-1784) are only a small part of a former rich baroque fresco decorations of the monastery. Topics of destroyed paintings can be followed back in monastery annals, which make possible the reconstruction of the iconographical program in the other main interior spaces of the monastery. |
