Keywords Hana Valley – peasant cottage - subterranean dwelling
Description This text deals with temporary dwellings of the poor strata of country population. First of all, the text goes in for a subterranean dwelling of a lackland from Kostelec town in Hana Valley region that was inhabited for more than 100 years. The dwelling was partly built under the road in its western section. We describe the partial adaptation of cellarage that was unused for years and we do not know any further details about it. The cellarage was connected with system of subterranean tunnels that are situated under the town of Kostelec. That was the isolated case of the usage of subterranean tunnels for permanent habitation in central Moravia region.
