| Description | The treatise deals with the beginning of the usage of Czech in the sphere of administration; the language analysis of the oldest Czech charters is presented, starting from the first known documents (1370) and reaching to 1437. The main attention focuses on the development of the formulary and its gradual stabilisation; the specificities of the text types are taken into account as well as the institutional and social stratification of the issuers and recipients of the charters in the analysed period. |
