| Description | This paper focuses on the analysis of the style of written judgments. It is meant as a part of an ongoing related discussion. Its structure and approach applied is based on Lasser's distinction between form, discourse and rhetoric of judicial decisions. Based on outlined methodology, this paper first deals with formal characteristics of Czech judgments and later with various levels of argumentation used in Czech judicial opinions. References to various judgments (Czech, French and English) are made where appropriate. |
