Description Criss-cross cycloaddition reactions of non-symmetrical aldoketazines with alkynes depending on various substitution afforded three types of heterocyclic products. Diastereoselectivity and regioselectivity were observed and reaction pathways and mechanisms are discussed supported by X-ray analyses.
