| Description | The main goal of this paper is briefly to value functionality and quality of Czech and Austrian banking systems, in terms of given financial indicators development. The paper follows a thesis that effective, healthy and deepening level of financial intermediation has a positive effect on continuous funding of real sector agents. The analysis is focused on evaluation of banks’ portolios, primary resources for assets and quality of realised credits in years 2000–2009. The importing indicators are: intensity of banking competition, profitability and depth of financial intermediation, too. |
