Description | Retinoid-induced cell differentiation of transformed cells into mature phenotypes is one of the most promising strategies in recent antitumor therapy. This differentiation may be enhanced by inhibitors of enzymes that participate in the intracellular degradation pathway of retinoids, especially of lipoxygenases and cyclooxygenases. |
