| Description | Breast cancer is the most frequent tumor disease of women. A chapter is devoted to complex issues of breast cancer. It provides information about histopathologic entities, causes and symptoms of the disease. It describes basic histopathologic entities and methods that lead to a diagnosis and specifying the extent of the disease. It summarizes local treatment (surgery, radiotherapy) and systemic teratment (chemotherapy, biological therapy, hormonal therapy) in the context of the extent of the disease. It describes the follow-up of patients. |
