Multicultural education is understood here in terms of the curricular reform of the Czech system of secondary education. This article shows that simple teaching about "world religions" might produce more stereotyping then useful information. It evaluates positively the emphasis of the curricular reform on abilities of critical thinking which is necessary to grand success of the multicultural education.
