| Description | In this paper the method of oral history is used. Using semi-structured interviews with selected respondents in two villages in southeastern Bulgaria, I tried to reconstruct "stories of origin" of two local groups. It deals with memory formation, renewal and transfer of collective historical memory of communities and the impact on ethnocultural identity of these Bulgarian communities (immigrated from Asia Minor). |
