| Description | The author of the present study deals with the problem of the typology of Slovak and Czech prose after 1989. He has chosen a specific cluster of artefacts of several generations searching for the common and different features manifesting the general tendency towards postmodernist conceptions on the one hand, and to the resistent poetological currents linked with a more conservative concepti of a literary artefact accentuating technical skill, an elaborate construction of the plot and rather conservative axiological values on the other. However, he does not consider these phenomena constrastive or controversional, on the contrary, he regards them as a mere result of a quite natural development of literature often converging would-be oppositional poetics. |
