Description The author deals with the historical circumstances of adoption of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms (comparison with the General Civil Code 1811) and with legislative issues of its inclusion in the legal order. In 1991 and 1992 was in the Czech Republic chosen a special method of the implementation of international standards of human rights. Their regulation is not a component of the particular chapter or part of the Constitution of the Czech Republic 1992, as it is otherwise usual in the world. The regulation is included in a separate legal document (the so-called “the Charter”), whereon the Constitution only refers to.
