Description Procrastination, i.e. voluntary but at the same time irracional postponement of a planned action, is mostly considered to be a dysfunctional personality trait. Aim of the presented study is to detect a possible relationship between procrastination and study lenght. We were also interrested in the posiible relationship between procrastination and the necessity to meet also other liabilities in addition to study (employment, child care, another studies etc.). 160 university students filled out the Procrastination Scale for Student Populations (Lay, 1986) and answered questions concerning their study and other liabilities. The results show that procrastination is connected to larger study lenght and the tendency to have more unfinished subjects.
