| Description | In this paper we make the acquaintance of the movement of positive psychology, its historical roots and theoretical resources. We introduce leading representatives and main points of positive psychology program, which focuses on human strengths and building the best things in life as well as repairing the worst. We discuss also feature application areas of positive psychology as well as critical points of positive approach. We also present the review of actual situation on the ground of positive psychology in the Czech Republic and we suggest its possible future directions. |
