Description The article focuses on the fact, that Astrid Lindgren's works are wordl-famous and still being translated. Based on a comparative literary-historical analysis has shown that two different books have become the most popular in Russian and in the Czech Republic: Karlsson-on-the-Roof and The Six Bullerby Childern. The analysis showed that an important factor in the storyline and the poetry, but not less important is the quality of translation and publication time.
