Description Publication of eleven letters, written by Czech sculptor Jan Štursa to renowned Viennese art critic and promoter of modern art Arthur Roessler, which reveal a great deal about the nature of the relation that evolved between critic and artist. The correspondence relate to two paintings by Egon Schiele (now in the National Gallery in Prague), which were in early 1912 part of exchange between Štursa and painter.
