| Description | Positive psychology is new and rapidly developing movement in psychology. It focuses on studying of positive aspects of personality and positive side of life. We inform about historical background and history of positive psychology, its main representatives and applications. We point out at the research works of Czech and Slovak scholars on positive psychology and we discuss various ways of application of positive psychology in education, counselling and psychotherapy. We also inform about the goals and activities of the Czech Positive Psychology Centre. |
