| Description | The study analyzes and evaluates the development of Czech historical and literary- historical Serbian Studies from 1989 till present reporting on the institutional foundation of the surveyed fields and meditating on the contemporary trends of the Czech Serbian Studies. Works were published on Serbian political thought, Serbia in the nineteenth and twentieth century, its development after the Second World War and events which marked the final disintegration of Yugoslavia. Integral part of interest of the Czech scholars was also the question of Kosovo. The study also provides a detailed bibliography of the Czech writings on Serbian historical and literary-historical issues, commenting on the works of monographic, collective and encyclopedic character. |
