| Description | The book is paid to the castle of musical culture in the Jaroměřice in the first half of the 18th century in JohannAdam Questenberg. It brings many new information about the activities that count in music developed, not only in Jaroměřice, but also in Vienna and Brno. The author also discusses about artists working in the count's services. The core of the book is an analysis of musical drama of Franz Anton Mitscha (1696-1744), with the emphasis on the relationship of music and text. A very important part of the book is to present the music scores coming directly from the Count property, which were previously considered lost. |
