Description | This quantitative study focuses on research of students of Masaryk University and follows the influence of taking a special education course on the change of attitudes towards inclusion of children with special education needs. The research of attitudes (elaborated into three components – cognitive, affective and conative) has been conducted by the method of quasi-experiment. The data covering positive and negative attitudes towards inclusion were gathered by questionnaires with Likert scales at the beginning and at the end of the course. The results show that the attitudes towards inclusion and towards people with disabilities in general change only marginally, however, some groups of students posses significantly different attitudes than others. |
