Description The presented text deals with identity transformation (both personal and social) in terms of social pedagogy research. It focuses on the most current trends of identity conceptions and applies them to individual research studies. The monograph consists of three parts. The first part, Identity as a field of continuous transformations, provides the theoretical base for the next two parts which explain the current understanding of identity and its consequences in everyday life. The second part, Identity transformations and connected research contains chapters which either offer pilot study results or refer to new research possibilities in this area. In the final part, Eibenthal: Identity at a crossroads, researchers tries to cover crucial aspects from the current life of inhabitans.
