Description | The author describes her personal encounters with several Catholic theologists who have a close relationship with Collegio Nepomuceno, studied at Pontifical Colleges in Rome and devoted their time to philosophy as well as clerical mission (K. Vrána, K. Říha, K. Skalický, T. Špidlík, V. Richter, L. Armbruster, J. M. Veselý). Their contribution to Czech philosophy is indisputable, which is confirmed by their inclusion in the Dictionary of Czech Philosophers (Brno 1998). These figures’ journey to philosophy was also depicted in inteviews published between 2002-2006 in the proceedings Studia philosophica facultatis philosophicae brunensis, published by the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. |
