Description | Knowledge Space Theory (KST) and its competence-based extensions (CbKST) are prominent examples how an adaptation strategy for guiding the learner are grounded on a theoretical framework and can be applied in e-learning systems and researchs. KST and CbKST constitute sound psychological mathematical frameworks for both structuring knowledge domains and for representing the knowledge and competences of learners. The development of this research approach will be mentioned and illustrated by applications. |
