Description | Graphics in the Czech and Moravian folk environment occur at he turn of the 17th and 18th century. The most common were biblical themes from the New Testament, in addition to scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin Mary were popular images of saints, especially the patrons of the house and the farm. These graphics as framed paintings hung in the holy corner in the room or hung on the inside of the chest and cabinet doors. |
