Description | The paper is aimed at the social differentiation within the earliest Christianity. It rethinks criteria according to which the earliest Christian texts use to be connected with particular religious groups. For the reconsideration Burton Mack’s typology of Jesus groups and Christ congregations is chosen. In this framework, the paper is focused on two aspects of social identity – relations to other groups and to its own religious tradition. |
